There’s something special about the North East’s brewing scene right now, and this August, Baltic is throwing open its doors to celebrate it properly.
On Saturday 1st August, Baltic Beer Festival brings together 10 of the region’s most exciting independent breweries for a one-day celebration of craft beer, bold flavours and the people behind the pumps.
Tickets are £12.50 per person for this 18+ event, and we’d recommend pre-purchasing £20 worth of tokens in advance by selecting the “General admission + £20 tokens” option at checkout, so you’re ready to start sampling the moment you arrive.
A DAY DEDICATED TO LOCAL BREWING
This isn’t just another beer festival. It’s a curated showcase of what makes the North East’s craft beer scene so special, bringing pioneering favourites together with boundary-pushing newcomers under one roof.
This is Baltic’s first ever beer festival that will be held across two sessions, from 12pm – 5pm and then 6pm – 11pm. Expect expertly crafted beers, a buzzing atmosphere and the rare chance to chat with the brewers themselves about what’s in their glass.
CHEERS TO A CELEBRATION OF LOCAL BEER
Every ticket includes a Baltic-branded festival glass, yours to keep and take home as a memento of the day. DJ De Ja Brew will be soundtracking the festival throughout, and street food will be on hand to pair perfectly with whatever’s in your glass.
Whether you’re a seasoned craft beer enthusiast or just starting to explore what the region has to offer, gluten-free beers will also be available, so there’s something for everyone to raise a glass to.
