About Rachael Ellis

After gaining a first in her BA Media and Journalism degree at Northumbria University, Rachael worked at Newcastle’s leading regional newspaper with her stories being picked up in national and global newspapers. She spent two very successful years giving a voice to those communities across the North East who otherwise would never have been heard and is on a mission to now give a voice to women.

Born and bred in Newcastle, Rachael is a proud Geordie lass who’s a real people person and loves to meet, chat and listen to stories from new people. She brings her fun-loving personality to HLN, thinking up creative campaigns to help our advertisers get the most from working with us.

In her spare time, Rachael is a social butterfly, she enjoys working out, chasing sunsets, travelling the world and exploring new places and is the queen of bottomless prosecco brunches.
