THE OPENING OF EL GUAPO

DUNK N’ DOUGHNUTS

Where: Meet near Crusoes on Longsands Beach, Tynemouth
Price: Free but advanced registration is necessary
A Valentine’s love special. The monthly collab between Dip Club and Deep North is bringing you love-themed doughnuts on the beach (how perfect). They’re encouraging everyone to wear pink or red – or even fancy dress. Dip in sea at 10.00am, then your coffee and doughnuts will be delivered to the beach by 10.20am. Heaven.


NEWCASTLE VINTAGE POP-UP
When: Saturday 25th February, 10.30am – 4.30pm
Where: Boiler Shop, Newcastle
Price: From £5.00 to free, depending on what time slot you want
Premium vintage clothing boutique, Glass Onion, is doing a pop-up in Newcastle this weekend, with the chance to bag trend-led vintage pieces from just £10.00. Early bird entry for the first hour is £5.00 (for those that want first dibs), then it’s £1 entry thereafter.
THE LAST KINGDOM EXHIBITION
When: Opened 10th February and runs until 4th November
Where: Bamburgh Castle, Bamburgh
Price: £17.00
Bamburgh Castle has just launched a new exhibition showcasing costumes and props from the global hit Netflix series ‘The Last Kingdom’, which takes place in the Kingdom of Bebbanburg – now known as Bamburgh. See costumes worn by the show’s main characters, as well as swords, shields and other props featured in major moments throughout the series. There’s even a chance to get your photo taken on The Wessex Throne. One for the mantlepiece.
