Koru Peaceful Pizza – a mindful café, pizzeria & artisan restaurant in Gosforth, Newcastle
Founded in 2020, Koru is less your average pizza spot and more a nature-and-mindfulness-themed retreat that happens to serve excellent artisan food.
There’s full table service throughout so it works equally well as a quiet café for coffee and cake or a relaxed sit-down restaurant meal. There’s also a rotating line-up of workshops from local artists and creatives.
The draw: the Peace Garden for alfresco dining, a BYO policy (small corkage fee), dog-friendly with a free puppuccino for pups, and thoughtful options across vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Kids menu and colouring competitions too.
