Awesome Franks – deli and sandwich spot inside West Jesmond Station

Awesome Franks is a brilliantly energetic new deli and sandwich spot in West Jesmond that’s already turning heads with its creative, flavour-packed offerings and warm community vibe. Born from the same passion that fuelled a beloved local pizzeria, it serves up artisan sandwiches, brunch and more using locally sourced ingredients and freshly baked bread, with each combo as thoughtful as the last.

The draw: A genuinely quirky setting, nestled inside West Jesmond Station with a Wes Anderson-inspired look, good for watching the trains go by over a coffee or a proper sandwich. A retro cocktail bar is also said to be in the works.
