Sushi Me Rollin’ Grey Street – Sushi restaurant & bar in Newcastle city centre

Founded in 2018 by two friends chasing the freshest sushi in Newcastle, this is their largest restaurant and a genuinely unique space in the heart of the city, putting the fun back into fine dining with hand-crafted sushi and a full cocktail menu. It’s walk-ins only here, though takeaway is also available directly or via Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

The draw: clean, fresh sushi with a modern, well-travelled twist, a proper cocktail menu to pair with it, and a lively city centre setting that’s become a bit of a local favourite (hence the #sushigang following).

Hours: Open daily 12-8:30pm

Vibe check: buzzy and informal, no bookings taken here so be prepared to walk in and wait if it’s busy.
