Twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid, better known as The Proclaimers, emerged 37 years ago with their debut album ‘This Is The Story’ and the top 3 single ‘Letter from America’, going on to build a global following that’s endured across generations.
Their songs are known for poignancy, emotional honesty, political fire and wit, with one early love song in particular becoming a genuine worldwide anthem. They bring that back catalogue to Sunderland Empire on Thursday 23rd July.
