Grow Your Own Garden – Gateshead
Baltic invites families to help build a garden entirely from cardboard and recycled materials, bringing its new Baltic Garden to life.
Across the two days, participants can design and build garden structures like planters, fences, winding paths and tiny sheds using cardboard engineering, then bring the space to life with colourful flowers, leafy plants, climbing vines and garden creatures made from recycled materials.
There’s also room to invent brand new bugs, birds and pollinators to populate the finished garden, all part of a lush, lively space built on creativity, playful construction and community spirit. Booking is essential to attend!
