Fashion Britain: BFC x ELLE UK National Designer Panel – Newcastle
Fashion Britain, the British Fashion Council’s new national programme, comes to Newcastle for the first time this September, with the city among a select group taking part in the inaugural programme.
A key highlight is the BFC x ELLE UK National Designer Panel at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, featuring Newcastle native and slow fashion designer Genevieve Devine, Barbour’s Director of Menswear Ian Bergin, and Baltic’s Director of Development and Enterprise Graham Easterlow, moderated by ELLE UK’s Deputy Multiplatform Editor Chiara Wilkinson.
The conversation explores the North East’s influence on their creative journeys, part of a wider city-wide programme connecting local designers, retailers, cultural institutions and students with fashion, education and business. Entry is free, though booking is essential.
