England Netball North East Festival – Gateshead
Netball’s taking over Metrocentre, Gateshead, expect free entry and fun for all ages.
Metrocentre’s Exhibition Square in Gateshead turns into a netball court for the day on Saturday 25th July, kicking off a summer of free activities at the shopping centre.
The day-long event marks England Netball North East’s centenary year, with taster sessions in throwing, footwork and shooting, plus a Supershot challenge for all ages. Returning players can find out about Walking Netball and Back to Netball, while 5 to 11 year olds can try Bee Netball, and there’s information on local coaching, officiating and volunteering too.
