Beginners Throwing Taster Class – Jarrow
Muddy Fingers Pottery in Jarrow runs a beginners throwing taster class on Sunday 26th July, aimed at total newcomers to the potter’s wheel, suitable for ages 16 and up.
With small class sizes, a professional pottery tutor guides beginners through centring, opening up and pulling up walls, with plenty of one-to-one advice along the way.
Each participant keeps their four best pots, with house white glazing available for an extra £5, ready to collect around four weeks later. Warm clothing is recommended as the studio is a working pottery in an industrial unit, and there may be spaniels around the workshop (even more reason to go).
