Lintz Hall Farm becomes a Halloween scream park, with 11 mazes across open woodland plus live shows and food and drink on site. Expect a clown carnival in iScream, pirates in Cutthroat Island and a pitch-black walk through The Darkness, so wear shoes you don’t mind getting muddy.

Eagles by Candlelight – Durham

Eagles By Candlelight brings a cast of West End singers and a live band to Durham Cathedral for an evening of the band’s best-known songs, performed by cosy candlelight. Expect New Kid In Town, Life in the Fast Lane, Tequila Sunrise and How Long, reworked for the setting.
Bowie By Candlelight – Durham

Bowie By Candlelight brings David Live, a David Bowie tribute show, to Durham Cathedral for an evening of unforgettable hits. Expect Let’s Dance, Starman, Life on Mars and Rebel Rebel, plus some deeper album cuts and rarer live versions for dedicated fans. The band formed nearly 20 years ago and has played for the BBC and at The David Bowie World Fan Convention in Liverpool.
Sloe Supper Club – Newcastle

A new supper club is coming to Assemble. Chef Ben Wilson-Woolsey is serving up a fine dining menu of Asian-inspired dishes made with locally foraged ingredients, with a plant-based menu alongside the main one. The Picture of Dorian Gray – A New Musical – Darlington

A new musical based on Oscar Wilde’s gothic novel follows Dorian Gray, whose youth and charm survive untouched while a hidden portrait takes on the cost of his sins. Kevin Kennedy, known for Coronation Street, stars as Mr Issacs in the 160-minute show.
We Will Rock You The Musical – Newcastle

2026 Mercury Prize – Newcastle

The Mercury Prize returns to Newcastle, with 12 shortlisted albums up for the title, including Knats’ A Great Day In Newcastle, plus records from Florence and The Machine, RAYE, Olivia Dean and Suede. 10 acts are set to perform live; it’ll be a night to remember.
Bēodern Supper Club – Northumberland

Ad Gefrin’s new monthly Supper Club brings people together around the table for a relaxed evening of hearty, seasonal food. Britain’s Got Talent’s very first winner Paul Potts joins West End and Broadway stars The Opera Boys for their final tour. Expect an evening of opera, musical theatre and pop classics, including Paul’s famous Nessun Dorma. Martin Kemp’s Ultimate 80’s DJ Show – Sunderland

Three UK musical theatre vocalists who have starred in Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked and Mamma Mia! step out of character for a concert of showstoppers and backstage stories. The set runs from Boublil and Schönberg to Stephen Schwartz and classic Broadway.
Halloween in Concert – Newcastle

Rock and metal legends Korn play Newcastle with special guests Architects and Youth Code. The band’s 1994 self-titled debut helped pioneer a genre, and they’ve since sold over 40 million albums worldwide and won two Grammys.
Kynren Pyromusical – County Durham

The North East’s biggest pyromusical returns for its eighth year, with a 25-minute fireworks display set to an epic soundtrack. It’s staged on Kynren’s 7.5-acre stage, with fire pits and food and drink on site.

The BAFTA-winning BBC drama returns to the city where it began, starring our very own Ryan Nolan. It’s a new stage adaptation by original writer Peter Flannery that marks 30 years since the series first aired. Will Young: The Evergreen Anniversary Tour – Newcastle

Will Young marks 25 years since winning Pop Idol with his Evergreen Anniversary Tour, back with his full band on a 16-venue UK run that stops off at O2 City Hall. It’s his first Newcastle show since 2022, so one for anyone still singing along to Leave Right Now.
Mouth of the Tyne Festival – Tynemouth

Tynemouth Priory and Castle hosts the festival’s open-air standing concerts. The first act announced is Olly Murs with special guests on Thursday 8th July. Lost Minds Festival – Newcastle

The North East’s biggest dance music festival returns to Exhibition Park for 2027 after another sell-out year.
