Whitley Bay’s Wellness Lane is offering the ultimate autumn reset with unlimited Pilates and sauna for 30 days

Wellness Lane in Whitley Bay has just launched an autumn reset offer giving members unlimited reformer, mat and recovery access for 30 days for £160.

It’s exactly the kind of nudge most of us need once the mornings turn dark and the motivation dips. The offer is available to buy on any day in October, so there’s no fixed start date to work around.

Founded by Katie, Wellness Lane combines a Reformer Pilates studio, a spa-style recovery room and a speciality matcha café under one roof, all designed to make wellbeing simple, enjoyable and accessible.

YOUR AUTUMN RESET STARTS HERE

Autumn is when a lot of us start looking for a workout that actually fits around shorter days and colder mornings, and Wellness Lane’s new offer is built for exactly that shift. The autumn reset gives you unlimited reformer classes, unlimited mat classes and unlimited use of the recovery room for 30 days, all from a single purchase of £160.

Because it can be bought any day in October, you choose when your 30 days begin rather than working to someone else’s calendar. It’s a great alternative to the usual January reset, and a chance to build a routine before the season gets fully underway.

Whether you’re chasing full-body strength through reformer, want the low-impact mobility work of mat, or just want somewhere warm and calming to recover after a long week, the offer covers all of it.

NEW TO REFORMER? THERE’S NO NEED TO BE NERVOUS

If you’ve never tried reformer before, Katie now offers a free reformer walkthrough and studio tour with her personally, aimed at anyone who feels a bit nervous about getting started.

It’s a chance to see the machines up close, ask questions and get a proper feel for the space before your first class, with no pressure to book anything on the spot. For a lot of people, the unfamiliar equipment is the biggest barrier to trying reformer at all, so having Katie talk you through it one-to-one takes a lot of that hesitation away.

FROM BONDI TO WHITLEY BAY

Katie’s journey to opening Wellness Lane wasn’t a straight line. “I’d been working in quality control, and I hated it,” she says. “I always knew I wanted to come back, live by the coast, and run my own business.” After years abroad, she reflected on what she truly loved, Pilates, matcha, wellness and even cold therapy, and decided to make that her life.

The result is a studio inspired by the relaxed, light-filled wellness spaces of Bondi in Sydney, but tailored for Whitley Bay.

“I wanted to create a space where people can move their bodies, feel good and meet like-minded people. Community is at the heart of what we do.”

Katie explains.

A SPACE DESIGNED TO RECHARGE

The studio blends neutral interiors, soft lighting and natural textures throughout. Upstairs, the Reformer Pilates studio features olive trees and softly curved LED mirrors, alongside light pink Reformers. Downstairs, a spiral staircase leads into the Mat Pilates space, where floor-to-ceiling mirrors and LED arches create a calm, focused setting.

“It’s somewhere you can move your body, reset for an hour and leave feeling a bit better than when you arrived.”

Katie says.

The recovery room, included in the autumn reset offer, is an escape in its own right.

With moody lighting, lush green foliage, warm wood features and soft floor lanterns, it houses an infrared sauna, cold plunge and rainfall shower area, a proper spa-like retreat for the colder months ahead.

MATCHA WITH A PASSIONATE TWIST

Katie’s love of matcha runs through the studio café too. “When I lived in Sydney, I became slightly obsessed with matcha. I wanted to recreate that experience here in the UK because the matcha I found back home just didn’t compare,” she explains.

All drinks are refined sugar-free, made with fresh fruit and agave syrups, in flavours including maple sea salt, banana bread and strawberry, all vegan and made with organic oat or coconut milk. “Precision is really important to me. Everything is carefully weighed so the flavour is just right,” says Katie.

MORE THAN JUST A PILATES STUDIO

Wellness Lane is designed to be more than a place to exercise; it’s a space for lifestyle, balance and connection.

“Before opening, I spent years in the corporate world, so I know how easy it is to get caught up in busy routines. Living in Australia really changed my perspective on work and lifestyle. People there work to live, not live to work. I wanted to bring that balance back here,” Katie reflects.

“If we can help people slow down, take care of themselves, and feel inspired to follow their passions, then that’s something I’m really proud of.”
