SNEAK PEEK INSIDE THE BEACH HOUSE
With its relaxed, family-friendly vibe, The Beach House takes inspiration from the sea whilst sitting nestled amongst the trees. Offering laid-back luxury and a warm welcome, this part of the hotel is perfect for those who like to take things easy. With its own reception, bar, Pizzeria and new children’s pool, everything you need is right on your doorstep, meaning you won’t need to leave the comfort of The Beach House, nor will you want to.
There’s a room to suit however you like to holiday, too. The Beach House with Balcony overlooks surrounding woodland, offering a calm, elevated perspective where nature feels close and unhurried, ideal for a morning coffee or an evening drink as the light shifts through the trees.
For something a little more indulgent, The Beach House with Outdoor Bathtub (pet-friendly and non-pet-friendly rooms are available) sits on the lower ground floor with direct access to the gardens, giving you your very own outdoor bathtub to unwind in beneath open skies. There’s also an elevated version of the same room, with a private balcony where the tub looks out over the gardens below.
If you’re after extra space, The Beach House Suite blends luxurious interiors with soothing coastal influences, complete with a freestanding bath and inviting lounge area, the perfect retreat for a night or two. And for guests who need it, The Beach House Accessible Room captures the same serene, sea-inspired interiors in an easy-to-navigate space.
A PROPER PIZZERIA WORTH TRAVELLING FOR
Born on the coastline and shaped by salt, warmth and time, Pizzeria at The Beach House is a relaxed, welcoming space where good food and shared moments come naturally. The pizzas remain rooted in the seasons, crafted on slow-fermented sourdough and cooked to order, but the menu stretches well beyond pizza, with house-made pastas, seasonal small plates and generous dishes designed for sharing across the table.
Led by Executive Chef Adam Maddock, the menu brings together authentic Italian flavours with a distinctly Yorkshire sensibility. Think nduja-spiced pork shoulder ragu, whipped burrata with tomatoes, and a spicy Calabrese pizza finished with chilli honey. There’s a proper kids’ menu too, from pork meatballs and spaghetti to a six-inch margherita, so the whole family eats well without anyone compromising.
THE NEW CHILDREN’S POOL MAKING WAVES AT SALTMOORE
A new era of family stays has well and truly begun, with the opening of the Children’s Pool at The Beach House marking an exciting new chapter for families staying on the North Yorkshire coast.
Designed exclusively for younger guests aged 15 and under, the pool provides a dedicated space where little ones can swim, paddle and build lasting holiday memories after days spent exploring the beach and surrounding coastline. Located within The Beach House leisure facilities, the addition complements Saltmoore’s relaxed, family-friendly offering, giving families even more reason to slow down and spend quality time together.
With its own reception, bar, Pizzeria and now a children’s pool, The Beach House offers laid-back luxury inspired by the coast, where every generation can settle into the rhythm of seaside living.
The Children’s Pool is available to hotel residents and forms part of Saltmoore’s growing collection of family experiences, alongside the popular Little Explorers Escape package.

PIZZA & POOL PARTIES
Birthdays by the coast just got a serious upgrade. Saltmoore has launched Pizza & Pool Parties, a brand new way to celebrate with the kids without any of the usual party admin.
Aimed at children aged three to 15, each party gets an hour of splashing about in the Children’s Pool, followed by pizza in the family-friendly Pizzeria at The Beach House. It’s a proper party without the faff, right on the seafront.
