Annie
Tuesday 4th – Saturday 8th August 2026
Bet your bottom dollar, Annie is back for one week only. The ultimate feel-good family musical, complete with belting ballads like Tomorrow and It’s the Hard-Knock Life. Young Annie escapes Miss Hannigan’s clutches for a Christmas with billionaire Oliver Warbucks – but of course, Miss H has other tricks up her sleeve. A timeless tale of hope, heart and Broadway-style showstoppers.
Mean Girls
Monday 18th – Saturday 30th January 2027
Grab your pink outfits and your sassiest one-liners – the Plastics are strutting into Newcastle straight from the West End. Mean Girls takes the stage in early 2027, bringing razor-sharp wit, killer tunes and the iconic characters we all know. When new girl Cady tries to topple Regina George’s reign, let’s just say… it doesn’t end in a candy cane gram. It’s fierce, funny and totally fetch.

The Trocks

Who says ballet has to be serious? Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo – also known as “The Trocks” – pirouette into town with their signature blend of high-camp comedy and world-class technique. Celebrating 50 fabulous years, they’ll serve you pointe work with punchlines and tutus with a twist. Expect giggles and gasps in equal measure.
My First Ballet: Cinderella

Introducing little ones to the magic of dance, English National Ballet presents a beautifully simplified version of Cinderella. North East playwright Ed Waugh returns with another homegrown hit. The Cramlington Train Wreckers tells a powerful story of solidarity during the 1926 General Strike – a tale that has already sold out venues across the region. This time, it’s rolling into Newcastle’s grandest stage.
Guys and Dolls
Tuesday 21st – Saturday 25th July 2026
Newcastle Musical Theatre Company bring their big-hearted, big-laugh production of Guys and Dolls. Packed with timeless tunes like Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat, it’s a high-stakes romantic comedy set in the city that never sleeps. Expect gangsters, gamblers and plenty of fun.

Roll up, roll up – the circus is coming to town. With a talented cast of over 20 performers, acrobats and actor-musicians, Barnum promises spectacle by the bucket-load.
