No28, Newcastle

No28 – Bar, restaurant and late night club in Newcastle city centre

No28 covers a lot of ground on Nelson Street, serving home made British food and pies, a popular Sunday dinner with options like slow cooked beef featherblade, and claims to be the first bar in Newcastle to launch bottomless prosecco brunch. By night it switches into a late bar and boutique club, with mirrorballs and a full club lighting and sound system kicking in from 10pm.

The draw: the bottomless brunch and supper deals are the standout, from just £35 for 90 or 120 minutes, running midday to 7pm daily plus a Thursday afternoon slot. It’s also open until 3am most nights for those wanting to carry on into a club atmosphere.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 4pm to 3am

Friday to Sunday 12pm to 3am.

Vibe check: a genuine day to night venue, relaxed enough for a Sunday roast but built to shift into full clubbing mode later on. Good for groups wanting bottomless brunch that carries on into a night out.
