Working Lass – Zine Making Workshop
Join the sensational Miki Rogers for a creative celebration of 10 trailblazing North East women and their role in the liberation movement as part of our Working Lass project.
Over the past few months, community members took part in workshops where they nominated women or groups who’ve made a lasting impact through political activism, social change, charitable work, or cultural influence. Together, we created a collaborative scrapbook filled with stories, memories, and tributes to these inspiring women.
A panel then selected ten standout figures whose community impact shines—and now we’re celebrating them!
✨ Come along to our zine-making session to:
– Learn about these incredible women
– Reflect on and honour the women in your life
– Keep the celebration of North East women alive through creativity
This is a free, social, and welcoming session—perfect for a bit of crafting and a natter. Cake and hot drinks will be provided, so come chill out and get arty with us!
