One of the biggest events in Newcastle and Gateshead’s cultural calendar, The Late Shows returns on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May 2026, bringing a lively programme of arts, heritage and culture.
This year, over 60 venues will open their doors in the evening for free, inviting audiences to explore the region’s creative scene after hours.
