‘The Gaderung’: Gather, Feast, Celebrate – Ad Gefrin

The modern harvest festival (inspired by the ancient Anglo-Saxon festival of Lammas) brings together farmers, makers, chefs, musicians and storytellers to honour the North East’s rich food culture.

The day will feature a sprawling open-air artisan market showcasing the best of Northumbrian food, drink and craftspeople. Taste golden jars of Northumberland Honey, zingy Hepple Spirits, flaky pies and crumbling Doddington Cheese – to name just a few!
