The Forage Winter Market

One of the North East’s most-loved indie markets is back for a festive weekender. The Forage Winter Market returns to the End Hemmel barn at Rigg & Furrow, Acklington, bringing together more than 50 independent makers, designers and food vendors under one rustic roof.

Expect thoughtful gifts, handcrafted homeware, seasonal treats and design-led treasures – all served with mulled drinks, artisan beer from the on-site taproom and local street food.

Entry is just £1 (kids, carers and dogs go free), with profits supporting Amble Food Bank. Shopping small has never looked, or tasted, this good.

Opening hours:

Saturday 8th November: 12noon – 6.00pm (Taproom open until 7.00pm)

Sunday 9th November: 12noon – 6.00pm (Taproom open until 7.00pm)

A huge crowd of people dressed in festival attire stand behind a railing facing forward to an unseen stage. Many of them raise their arms in the air and sing along. In the background, the large structure of St James Park stadium can be seen.
