Special Tour: Raby and The Royal Family – Raby Castle
This hugely popular tour takes you through 1,000 years of Raby Castle’s history, shedding light on its unique royal connections along the way.
Starting in the early 11th century as a manor belonging to King Canute, you’ll learn all about Raby Castle’s history of royal love, friendship, plot and treason.
The tour will take you to parts of the castle not normally visited by the public. Warm clothes and comfortable shoes are encouraged for these parts!
