Sunderland Empire hosts a spellbinding evening celebrating the music from cinema’s most whimsical and eerie masterpieces, from Tim Burton’s gothic fantasy films to cult classics of the dark and magical.
The Illuminated Orchestra, an 18-piece chamber orchestra of first-class, classically trained musicians, brings 75 minutes of spine-tingling, heartwarming and otherworldly music to life beneath the glow of a giant moon.
You’ll hear unforgettable themes from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Wednesday and The Addams Family, among others, performed live alongside evocative vocals. It’s a one-night-only performance, with age guidance of 8+ and strobe lighting used throughout.
