Live Skies in the Planetarium – Newcastle
Life Science Centre hosts an adults-only evening under the stars, an immersive tour of the night sky exactly as it would appear on the night, without weather or light pollution getting in the way.
The Life team’s presenter covers the history and mythology behind the star patterns visible overhead, with a deeper look at this season’s chosen constellation, Andromeda. Using the planetarium’s most advanced technology for ultra-rich, high-resolution visuals and immersive sound, it’s a 45-minute show from some of the comfiest seats around. Suitable for ages 18 and over only.
