Coastal Wildlife Walk – Tynemouth
Tynemouth Priory and Castle hosts a friendly, guided walk with NHSN Field Naturalist Matthew Harrison, exploring the fascinating plants, insects, crustaceans and birds that thrive along the coastline.
You’ll discover how wildlife has adapted to life by the sea, keep an eye out for migrating birds, and even contribute records to Gosforth’s Wild Web. Suitable for both beginners and experienced naturalists alike, meeting at Tynemouth Priory car park. There’s no fixed ticket price, just a suggested donation, so cost is never a barrier to taking part.
