Blackfriars is hosting its first ever beer festival over the May bank holiday weekend!

Sample beers from eight local breweries – including Blackfriars’ own St Dominic’s Brewery – in the historic Banquet Hall of the 13th-century friary.

Outside in the beautiful Cloister Garden, you’ll be able to enjoy delicious street food straight from the BBQ, sip on wine, cocktails and soft drinks, and soak up the live music amidst fire pits and festoon lighting.

Tickets are just £9.50 and include a commemorative St Dominic’s-branded schooner and a first beer. £1 from the sale of each ticket will be donated to the Newcastle United Foundation, who use the power of football to connect, motivate and inspire people in our region.
