Beasts on the Street – Newcastle City Centre
Watch in awe as giant creatures roam along Northumberland Street to open Newcastle Puppetry Festival 2025.
There will be planned walkabout performances during the day, where you can get up close to some incredible puppets. Stroke the nose of a huge deer, hug an elephant’s trunk and help the Jabberwocky spread its wings!
Don’t miss the Toon Underground community parade at 2pm, which will feature more than 100 participants accompanied by foot-stomping live music.
