Autumn Tablescape Workshop – County Durham
Raby Castle’s Conservatory sets the scene for an autumn tablescape workshop with Deborah from Periwinkle Barn, the Walled Gardens providing a fitting backdrop for a session built entirely around styling for the season.
Expect a proper masterclass in bringing a table together, flowers, foliage, candlelight, natural textures and thoughtfully chosen details, rather than a single showy centrepiece, until the whole thing feels warm, elegant and unmistakably autumnal.
Colour palette, placement, height and balance all get covered, along with the small finishing touches that make the difference between a table that looks nice and one that actually feels considered. Working with autumn blooms, dried elements, seed heads, berries, linens and decorative accents, you’ll leave with a beautifully layered look and the know-how to recreate it for your own gatherings right through harvest season.
