This festive season, we’ve joined forces with Raby Castle to offer one lucky HLN’er two Christmas at Raby Castle tickets and a festive afternoon tea.  

For the first time in more than 50 years, Raby Castle is opening its doors during the holiday season, inviting visitors to step inside and experience the castle exactly as it would have been decorated for a traditional Vane family Christmas.

Curated by Lady Barnard, each room will be transformed with nostalgic festive touches: beautifully wrapped gifts, winter blooms and spectacular Christmas trees that capture the charm of Christmases gone by.

Your journey winds through eight atmospheric ground-floor rooms, each telling a different part of Christmas Day at the castle — from early-morning stocking surprises to an elegant candlelit dinner and an evening of festive games. You’ll also get to see rare items from the castle’s collection, many of which have never been displayed before.

End your Christmas day out with a  festive afternoon tea for two at The Vinery, complete with panoramic castle views, twinkling lights and three tiers of indulgent seasonal treats

The experience runs on selected dates from Saturday 22^nd November to Sunday 4^th January — and we’re giving one lucky reader the chance to enjoy it all.
