The Garden Room at The Biscuit Factory is fast becoming one of the most unique wedding venues Newcastle has to offer, and its new Summer 2027 offer gives couples even more reason to book.
Getting married here on a weekday could save you up to £1,450, with packages starting from £135pp.
Set inside the Garden Room, you’ll instantly be transported to a botanical world of its own right in the heart of the city, and it’s easy to see why so many North East couples are choosing it for their big day.
A BOTANICAL ESCAPE IN THE HEART OF THE CITY
Unlike most Newcastle wedding venues, the Garden Room is built entirely around its planting. It’s more Victorian winter garden than industrial-chic, and that’s the whole point: couples booking here are choosing a room that photographs like nowhere else in the city, whatever the weather’s doing outside.
Step through the doors and you’re in a different world. Hundreds of tropical plants climb the walls, a gentle indoor waterfall runs along one side of the room, and golden chandeliers hang above polished wood floors. Triple-height vaulted ceilings flood the space with natural light, so even a summer wedding feels like stepping into a lush, sheltered oasis rather than a marquee in a field.
Even at the height of summer, the room stays cool and shaded beneath the plant canopy, with soft afternoon light filtering through rather than beating down. That makes it as suited to an intimate ceremony for close family as it is to a full reception, with the same backdrop carrying romantic vows through to speeches and dancing later in the evening.

The room has its own private entrance and terrace, and it’s fully wheelchair accessible. It holds 50 to 120 guests, with the ceremony taking place among the plants before the room’s reset for the wedding breakfast, giving couples a genuine change of scene without leaving the building. It’s the kind of detail that makes the Garden Room feel more like a secret garden than a Newcastle event space.
THE SUMMER 2027 OFFER, EXPLAINED
The headline package covers weekday weddings between July and September 2027, priced at £135pp for a minimum of 50 guests, rising to £150pp for Saturday dates. It includes the ceremony venue, a prosecco reception, a three-course seasonal menu with wine, a prosecco toast, and all furniture, tableware and room hire until midnight, plus a dedicated wedding planner to handle the details. If you’re booking one of the selected weekday dates could save up to £1,450 against the full price.
With only selected dates available and a 50-guest minimum, the most popular Saturdays are expected to go quickly, so if you have a 2027 date in mind, make sure to enquire early rather than wait until the new year.
For a more relaxed celebration, there’s a Summer Celebration package too, running from £50pp on weekdays or £65pp on Saturdays for a minimum of 100 guests. It swaps the sit-down meal for an evening venue hire, a prosecco and lager welcome drink, an informal pizza buffet from the in-house pizza oven, and a pay bar, perfect if you’re a couple who’d rather keep things easy-going.

Seeing it in person is the only real way to judge a room like this, and The Biscuit Factory’s Garden Room Wedding Open Evening on Thursday 15th October 2026 is the chance to do exactly that. The room will be dressed to show off its wedding potential, with a complimentary glass of prosecco and canapés on arrival and the venue’s coordinators on hand to answer questions about dates, packages and suppliers.
Tickets are free, but spaces are limited, so early booking’s recommended.
