We’re all in need of a recharge or a bit of R&R and Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall is the place to be this summer for some self-care.
Designed around intentional wellbeing, engagement with nature and restorative relaxation, the £1 million investment builds upon the outdoor facilities, transforming the space into a thoughtfully curated wellbeing environment where you can enjoy relaxation, recovery and social connection.
And if you’re currently planning your summer staycation, you’re in luck – there’s a 25% discount on stay, spa and food packages at Seaham Hall right now to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
SEAHAM HALL SPA’S NEW ZEN GARDEN: WHAT TO EXPECT
The revitalised Zen Garden introduces two state-of-the-art infinity edge pools, where you can bathe in warm waters while breathing in the fresh coastal air. A new cold plunge pool with a running waterfall provides revitalising recovery, creating a unique wellness experience.
The extended outdoor deck invites moments of relaxation, with loungers positioned for uninterrupted views across the landscaped gardens. In the evening, fire pits with intimate seating areas create a warm setting under the stars to reconnect with your loved ones.
WHY EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT SEAHAM HALL SPA ATM
Set atop the rugged cliffs of the Durham Coast, the soothing spa takes inspiration from the tranquillity of its surroundings, as well as the ancestral wellbeing practices of the Far East.
The enhanced outdoor experience has been designed around intentional wellbeing, engagement with nature and restorative relaxation. Building upon the 4,650sqm Serenity Spa’s existing outdoor facilities, the newly curated space introduces two infinity edge pools and a cold plunge pool with a running waterfall, supplied by Castillo Pools. There’s also an extended outdoor deck, with fire pits and loungers positioned for views across the landscaped gardens.
A summer spa garden wellness campaign will run from June to August, featuring expert-led sessions including breathwork, meditation, sound bathing, fire and ice experiences, mini rituals and an SPF bar. Serenity Spa is also introducing new spa packages, including a limited-edition Golden Hour Twilight Series (relaxing in the spa at sunset? Immaculate vibes)
The relaunch further strengthens Seaham Hall’s reputation as one of the North East’s leading coastal spa and wellness destinations.
The spa also offers Serenity Spa Skin and Aesthetics, a skin experience clinic led by medical director, Dr James Wokes. The clinic offers skin consultations and treatments, and a holistic doctor-led approach to wellbeing. Serenity Spa works with ishga and TempleSpa, and its advanced skin offering includes HydraFacial alongside product partners Noon and DermaQuest.
