PROUD MARY KEEPS ON BURNING: FROM NUTBUSH TO GLOBAL ICON

Telling the extraordinary true story of Tina Turner’s rise from humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to becoming a 12-time Grammy Award–winning global superstar, this is more than a jukebox musical — it’s a celebration of resilience, reinvention and raw talent.

Packed with electrifying hits including The Best, What’s Love Got To Do With It?, Private Dancer and River Deep, Mountain High, the show delivers non-stop energy, emotion and moments that will give you goosebumps.

WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT? EVERYTHING, ACTUALLY.

At its heart, TINA is the story of a woman who refused to be defined by her past, her relationships or the limits placed upon her. It’s bold, empowering and deeply moving — a reminder that strength can come from survival, and triumph can come from truth.

A WEST END LEGEND, ON TOUR BREAKING RECORDS — AND BOUNDARIES

After running at London’s Aldwych Theatre for more than six years after its world premiere, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical is the longest-running show in the venue’s history, with productions spanning Broadway, Europe, Australia and beyond. And now it comes to Newcastle.

With direction by Phyllida Lloyd (Mamma Mia!), a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall, and choreography by Anthony van Laast, this is theatre royalty from top to toe.
