Effie’s – a new vintage container store from three of the North East’s chattiest vintage sellers, Ouseburn

Effie’s is the lovechild of three local businesses, Hannah from Mars Vintage, Lottie from Milk No Sugar and Laura from Friday Vintage, who’ve joined forces to open a vintage container store together in Ouseburn. Between them, they bring years of combined vintage knowledge, well-established loyal customer bases and a genuinely eclectic mix of 90s and Y2K finds, three distinct styles under one roof.

The draw: Hannah started out at Ouseburn Market and has travelled up and down the UK selling vintage ever since, specialising in nostalgic Y2K pieces. Lottie’s been selling vintage since her teens and previously ran multiple charity shops across the North East, building a loyal online following along the way. Laura has run her own city centre store since 2023, was advocating second-hand fashion before it was cool, and does styling and bespoke design work alongside her vintage finds. Expect a fun, eclectic mix that reflects all three of their personalities.
