Get closer to nature through creative activities, bug hunts and family fun at Woodhorn Museum.
Every Wednesday through the summer holidays, Woodhorn Museum’s Learning Team hosts a day of free, family-friendly activities inspired by the natural world.
Expect wild-themed crafts, bug hunts, and the chance to meet the Woodhorn Weeders, the museum’s friendly Age UK gardening group, with a different craft on offer each week. Visitors can also pick up a map and follow Woodhorn’s Wild Trail, tracking down brass rubbing posts around the site to build their own artwork along the way.
