Wild Walk: Mid-Winter Highlights – Washington Wetland Centre
This hour-long wild walk lets you soak up the sights and sounds of winter on the reserve.
Reserve warden Kate will lead the way, showing you different catkins, nuts and seeds and the types of creatures that might nibble on them. Look out for any snowdrops!
This is a great opportunity to practise your wildlife identification skills with expert tips and hints, as well as ask any questions during the walk.
If you’re a photographer, you’ll be able to capture some stunning mid-winter shots too!
