Wild Walk: Grey Heron – Washington Wetland Centre

This hour-long wild walk lets you take in the sights and sounds of the reserve while looking out for the nesting grey herons around Wader Lake.

The Centre’s wardens will lead the way, telling you about the elegant herons and pointing out anything else you see on the walk.

Feel free to ask any questions you have and practise your wildlife identification skills with some expert tips and hints.

For any photographers out there, this is a great opportunity to capture the beautiful creatures that appear along the walk.
