Wild Walk: Dragonfly Safaris – Washington Wetland Centre

This hour-long wild walk invites adults and families to search for beautiful dragonflies across Washington Wetland Centre.

As you wander around North Wood, Top Meadow and the amphibian ponds, you’ll hear lots of fun facts about these creatures and hopefully spot a myriad of them on the way.

If the sun isn’t out for these cold-blooded insects, the reserve team will still take you on a guided walk to see other kinds of wildlife.

A huge crowd of people dressed in festival attire stand behind a railing facing forward to an unseen stage. Many of them raise their arms in the air and sing along. In the background, the large structure of St James Park stadium can be seen.
