Wild Walk: Bird Song – Washington Wetland Centre
This hour-long walk lets you soak up the peaceful melodies of the wetlands and woodlands.
Listen out for birds such as the robin, wren, blackbird and goldfinch. You may get lucky and hear some early warblers too, like the chiffchaff and blackcap.
The Centre’s wardens will lead the way, so you can ask them any questions you have during the walk. You can also practise your wildlife identification skills with their expert tips and hints!
It also provides a great opportunity for photographers, who can capture the beautiful birds that appear along the walk.
