The Winter Market – County Durham
The Bowes Museum transforms into a seasonal wonderland for its Winter Market, with over 100 artists, designers, makers and food stalls stretching from the grounds into the galleries.
Browse unique gifts spanning jewellery, ceramics, textiles, original art, candles and skincare, alongside street food, sweet treats, craft beers and warming drinks. Every ticket includes free entry to the museum’s galleries and exhibitions, plus a lively programme of artist-led workshops, carolling and festive activities.
Accessible facilities run throughout, including specialist outdoor matting for stalls in the grounds and lift access, with free on-site parking available on a first-come, first-served basis.
