The Smallest Story follows Amy and Charlie Donnelly, the darlings of the children’s modern literary scene whose lives are thrown into chaos when Amy is diagnosed with Young Onset Mixed Dementia.
On the first Christmas following her death, Charlie chooses to relive his life in reverse, watching his time with Amy and their family backwards from its tragic end to its humble beginning.
This touching play explores grief, the impact of dementia, and the love and hope that we all experience as humans.
