The HandleBards: A Midsummer Night’s Dream – Maltings, Berwick

Join the HandleBards at The Maltings for their high-octane performance of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, where humans and fairies collide with hilarious consequences.

If you’ve never seen Shakespeare before, there’s no better introduction. And if you’re a buff of the Bard, you’ll never have seen his plays done like this…

Marking The HandleBards 10th anniversary, the hugely popular Shakespearean troupe have climbed back on their bikes for another epic UK tour to open-air theatres, castles, and gardens aplenty, travelling over 1,500 miles across the country by bike to present more than 100 performances of Shakespeare’s most famous romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

With set, props and costumes transported in their 100% electric support vehicle, and actors travelling solely by bike, the course of the cycling path never did run smooth.

This is Shakespeare at its most accessible and guaranteed to be a great night out, so catch them first at Maltings, Berwick, before they take Edinburgh Fringe by storm!
