The Gaderung – Northumberland
The Gaderung returns to Ad Gefrin for a weekend celebrating Northumbria’s whisky, food and heritage.
The Gaderung comes back to Ad Gefrin for two very different days under one roof. On Saturday 1st August, Capture the Spirit turns the site over to whisky, in partnership with The Whisky Lounge – expect tastings, distillery tours, expert-led sessions from Ad Gefrin’s own Director of Distilling, and live music running through the afternoon and evening.
Sunday 2nd August brings Share the Spirit, a family-friendly daytime festival built around Northumbria’s harvest heritage. Local producers, bakers and crafters set up an open-air market alongside street food, folk music and storytelling, all in a nod to Lammas, the Anglo-Saxon celebration of the first grain harvest.
