Supper Club with Gareth Baty – Newcastle
LOCAL_HQ welcomes MasterChef: The Professionals 2026 winner Gareth Baty for a one-night supper club, presenting his winning menu inspired by his own life.
Gareth’s journey has taken him from hosting supper clubs in an East London flat to cooking soul food in Harlem, working a farm kitchen in the Lake District, and building a kitchen from scratch in Newcastle’s own Brinkburn Brewery. Gareth’s five-course menu includes the deeply personal dishes that impressed the judges, opening with his take on cheesy chips, moving through seafood and chicken courses devoted to his mother and late father, before closing with two desserts dedicated to his wife’s family.
A seated, supper-club-style communal dining experience, with the first course served around 7:30pm as Gareth talks through each dish. A selection of wines is available to complement the menu, though it isn’t suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
