Stargazing at Raby Castle

On this evening, you will have the chance to witness a rare planetary occultation. At around 5:20 PM, Saturn and its moons will disappear behind the dark limb of Earth’s crescent Moon for just over an hour. They will reappear at approximately 6:25 PM from behind the bright limb of the Moon. Telescopes will be available for an up-close view of this extraordinary event.

This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a night under the stars, whether with a fellow astronomy enthusiast, a partner, friends, or family. At £25 per person, this event offers a rare and memorable experience in the stunning setting of Raby Castle.

5pm slot and 7pm slots available.
