Spooky Clay Creations – Sunderland
Melidy Makes hosts a fortnightly craft workshop at Grindon Young Peoples Centre, this session making two spooky clay creations to mark Halloween.
Children create a ghost, suitable for placing over an electric tealight, and a little pumpkin decoration, with all materials provided and two qualified teaching assistants on hand throughout. The session encourages fine motor skills and mindfulness, and is SEN approved, though it isn’t a quiet session, worth bearing in mind for anyone with noise sensitivity, with dedicated SEN quiet sessions planned for the new year.
Suitable for ages 3 and up, with adult supervision required, and aprons provided though messy clothing is still recommended.
