Something Like a Festival – Gateshead
Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art hosts Something Like a Festival on Friday 14th August, a free event designed by young people for young people, curated by Baltic Young Producers.
Expect live performances, a music programme mixing DJ sets and open-mic slots, and short films by young people screening in Baltic Cinema. There’s also poster printing, bookmark making, a book swap and a bee tour to explore, with pizza and drinks keeping everyone fuelled throughout.
Recommended for ages 13 to 19, with booking advised.
