Screen on the Green – Old Eldon Square
Settle down for some al fresco film watching with Screen on the Green at Old Eldon Square.
There will be two to three free film screenings a day, from cult classics to family films, plus plenty of deckchairs so you can sit back and relax.
If sports is more your thing, there will also be coverage of big live sports events, such as Wimbledon, the British Grand Prix and Tour de France.
Got a little one? Last year’s Toddler Takeover will return with screenings of Julia Donaldson book adaptations, juice and cosy rugs for rolling around. Kids can also enjoy Play Rebellion, an interactive outdoor play area, and Tiny Toon, a miniature village featuring tiny versions of Newcastle locations and landmarks.
