Portraits with Purpose: Continuing Bonds – Newcastle Cathedral
This collection features 12 poignant portraits from artist Leanne Pearce, who created them in collaboration with St Oswald’s Hospice.
Leanne worked with bereaved and pre-bereaved families who have accessed the hospice’s bereavement support and care services. Each portrait celebrates the life of the loved one and strengthens the continuing bond with their family.
The emotive exhibition, which features high-quality prints of the original artworks, intends to open up conversations about death, dying and grief, as well as challenging perceptions around hospice care.
