Northern Lights returns to Leazes Park with a brand new theme, A Christmas Time Machine, rewinding the wonder and letting visitors relive the magic of Christmases past.
The kilometre-long light trail transforms the park into a glowing winter wonderland, with immersive installations, hidden moments of magic and a vibrant Christmas Village offering festive food, drinks and fairground fun.
Created by the team behind Kendal Calling and Bluedot festivals, Northern Lights has drawn over 1.2 million visitors across the UK since launching in 2021, and has been named one of the UK’s best Christmas light trails by the Radio Times, The Guardian and The Times. Flexible booking lets you amend your date and time slot for free up to 24 hours before your visit.
