NE1’s Quayside Carnival – Newcastle
NE1’s Quayside Carnival returns on Saturday 22nd August, after last year’s debut brought in more than 10,000 people. The free family festival is going bigger in 2026, with a full road closure creating more space to play along the Tyne.
Expect brand-new activity zones, live entertainment, and interactive experiences throughout the day, plus bucket-list moments like free riverboat trips. It’s free to attend, with organisers Get Into Newcastle promising even more surprises than last year’s standout summer highlight.
