Mali Morris: Returning – Hatton Gallery
This is the largest exhibition to date by Mali Morris – a British abstract painter renowned for her use of vibrant colour.
Mali studied at Newcastle University’s Department of Fine Art in the 1960s and went on to produce numerous paintings, beginning with gestural and stained pieces and transitioning to more geometric layering.
Mali Morris: Returning brings the artist back to Newcastle by showcasing 40 key works spanning 45 years.
